I had a better sounding system on my last bike (a shark stereo), but it was UGLY! This system sounds fine, but I did have to set my iPod to an equalizer setting of almost no bass in order to avoid distortion. I have loud aftermarket pipes and a windshield and I can hear it fine at highway speeds.Since this is the lower-grade model, Pyle kind of jips you on installation hardware. The brackets for mounting the speakers are small "z" shaped brackets, which are useless for handlebar mounting. I went to Lowe's and bought some 1" anodized, rubber-sheathed "p" brackets for a little over a buck and used them to mount the speakers to the handlebars. I need to go buy another set to mount the volume control to the handlebars.I think the next stereo up (the -60 model) gets you the chrome "p" brackets plus a higher watt amp and am/fm too.
